Provost
Mexico Adventures has personally inspected and chosen several
lodges located
approximately 3 hours from
Harlingen, Texas in the lush
Milo
fields and other Grain fields that are the
financial backbone of The Lake Guerrero
and Soto La Marina
irrigation project. The
South River Lodge on lake Guerrero
is our first choice because you can hunt all species of birds and bass fish,
all at this location. We use other lodges as back up for larger groups and
extra bookings but this lodge is our favorite because it is closest to the
hunt areas.

With hunt several Lodges on Lake
Guerrero
" The main lodge closest to the birds is the South River Lodge"

others located near Abosolo, Soto La Marina, San Fernando and Jimenez areas.
We will always try to put you closest
to the birds. With over 25 years of experience sending hunters and fishermen

ARRIVAL DAY
: All hunters
will meet and will be picked up at
the Harlingen, Texas airport
. The transportation
vehicles taking you to the Lodge are air conditioned, Clean and comfortable
and will be loaded with clients and will
leave the Airport at
noon
! It is imperative that you
arrive at the airport with ample time to have your
hunting gear loaded
and
ready to leave the airport going to the van
. Late or Missed flights
are not our responsibility.
NOTICE: If a van
must return for you the cost is $150.00 per person, minimum of 4 or $600.00
whichever greater !
You will have a 2 1/ 2 - 3
hour trip to the lodge.
In the van will be cold soft drinks, water and
other refreshments for the
trip. When you
arrive at the camp you will be greeted by the camp
manager. You will then be
given
a brief
meeting on safety given some safety tips, hunting
instructions and then you will select a gun for your hunt the next morning.
.Your gun,
personal bird boy ,shells, hunting stool, and refreshments will be
waiting for your arrival at the hunting fields on every hunt..
THE FIRST MORNING HUNT
starts with a wake up call
at approximately 5:30 a.m. for coffee and a hearty breakfast. Shortly
after breakfast we will depart for the fields and a morning hunt! The van will
leave on time and will wait for no on
If you missed the van
DO NOT
ask for a refund on the missed hunt.
At end of the each hunt the guides and bird boys
will load your
hunting gear in the van and will bring you back to the Lodge. After Each Hunting Outing
and before you enter the van
YOU WILL tip
your bird boy and leave all of your hunting gear with him. Everything
will all be taken care
of by the staff. Awaiting you upon return is
a swimming pool , hors-d'oeuveres' Open Bar and a delicious meal.

THE EVENING HUNTS:
You will leave
for the evening
hunts
at approximately 3:00 p.m. The ride may be SHORT or it may be LONG! We
have to go to the Birds, We cannot bring them to you! We have scouts out
every day locating the largest concentrations of birds and that is where
we are going to go. Rain and other conditions cause them to move and that
is why we are constantly moving.
This is a Hunt - NOT a pen
raised bird SHOOT !
You will return at dusk
and you will again be greeted with margaritas,
beer, soft drinks and hot nachos.
And a great
evening meal. |

DEPARTURE DAY:
On your departure day you will
PAY your
shell bill and TIPS to lodge staff before departure.
The van will depart approximately 9:00 a.m.
from
Lake Guerrero and
7:00 a.m.
from Soto La Marina.
If you want
to bring out Birds,
YOU
MUST bring
your Ice Chest and YOU MUST
request birds the last evening BEFORE
departure day or NONE
will be ready
for you!
Your
departure flight time
MUST
be
scheduled for
3:00 p.m.
or later -
Absolutely no early departures unless prior
PAID
arrangements have been made!
We
WILL NOT be held responsible for
missed or delayed flights. |

for your return trip. If you are taking any birds home your driver will
assist you at the US border and deliver you to Harlingen airport . By
the way all paperwork is done for you by the Lodge staff before departure.

manner so that you can enjoyt he trip, NO
SURPRISES !!!!!!
