This area of Mississippi is noted for it's big deer population.

	Jay Folse hunts at "The Washes" and this year on New Years Days he started the New Years off right - He went hunting at "The Washes". 14 point that gross scored 182 5/8 and weighed 230 lbs. He was estimated to be 7 1/2 yrs old.

	Happy New Year "Jay"	There have been many trophy bucks taken from this area. Seven of the top ten bucks killed in Mississippi were killed here in this area

	The Hunting Lodge is right off the Highway and is easy to get to!

This camp offers the best of both worlds for the meat hunter and the trophy hunter with Ladder
stands and shooting houses overlooking green fields, food plots, bottom lands and thickets.

On the Lodge premises but separate from main house are
some Private and quite sleeping quarters complete with
bathroom facilities and comfortable beds. Perfect
accommodations for couples, "NO NON-HUNTERS.

If you require other special accommodations, there are several
nice motels in Natchez just a few miles from the Camp.
You may elect to stay at a motel at your own expense and drive yourself to and from the Camp each day.

Mississippi State Regulations

	All hunters are required to shoot 4 point or better bucks . Hunters may take a doe and a buck in the same day
	Mississippi Law requires each hunter to wear a Hunter Orange Vest and Cap at all times. If you are caught sitting in your stand without your Orange colors...you will be issued a citation.
	Mississippi Law forbids any outfitter to place any hunter on a stand while that person is intoxicated. There will be absolutely NO CONSUMING OF ALCOHOL while hunting!!

	NOTE:
	We control a 40,00acre private preserve 30,000 of which is private property with essentially
	NO Hunting. Our minimum specs for Trophy Deer are EIGHT POINTS of Better with 17 inch
	inside spread and 19 inch beams.There is no extra charge to hunt this area but a fine of $750.00
	will be paid by hunter if the Deer killed does not meet requirements described.
	One Buck allowed per hunter per two day hunt in Trophy area.

This is a HUNTso be prepared to sit and stay in your stand until the guide or someone picks you up after each hunt.   You will obey all Mississippi State Laws.   Violation of any State or Federal law will terminate your hunt and you will be reported to the Wildlife & Fishery Authorities. DO NOT bring four wheelers or ATV,s , you WILL NOT be allowed to ride around on property. YOU WILL park your vehicle at the camp and guides will take you to and from stands, NO EXCEPTIONS!
We have over 100 doe tags ( no charge ). Each hunter may be allocated one doe tag
                         (first-come/first-served) and at the discretion of the lodge manager.

TENTATIVE MISSISSIPPI SEASONS

Archery Season: October 1, 2007 thru November 16, 2007

Rifle Season: Nov. 17 - Nov. 30, 2007 & Dec. 17 - Jan. 17, 2008:

Primitive Firearms - Dec. 01 thru Dec.14, 2007 & Jan. 17, 2008 thru Jan. 31 2008
Either Sex Can be Taken for Primitive Weapon Season.
A Primitive weapon is Defined as single or double barreled muzzle-loading Rifles, .38 caliber or larger manufactured prior to 1900 and replicas of same, single shot breech loading cartridge rifles. For more details on these Mississippi regulations

Non-Resident 5 day license - (approximately) $125.00, Not included in Fees.

All Hunts are for a minimum of 2 days at a cost of $1000 per hunter .
Extra days $500 per person per day

Minimum of 4 Hunters and Maximum of 8 Hunters per stay.
Fees include Lodging, Meals and Guide Service.
No Non-Hunters allowed at lodge

A 50% non-refundable hunt fees required to book your hunt date.
Balance due 60 days prior to hunt date Non-Refundable !
Hunts booked less than 60 days from hunt date are due in full.

Guides will skin & quarter your deer for a fee of $35 per deer,
Pay in advance to guide or do it yourself !

All fees paid are Non-Refundable, No Credits, No Cancellations !!
